CPM regards its human resources as its most valuable asset and promotes a culture which enhances a joint commitment towards continuous improvement, employee personal growth, well-being and business prosperity. We acknowledge the diversity of our human resources and hold it as an imperative to pursue equal employment opportunities with no discrimination on the basis of any one or more grounds, including race, gender and disability.
We are fully committed to EE alignment, and wherever possible we give preference to candidates who are from previously disadvantaged groups. We regularly advertise in both electronic and printed media for people from these groups. We are additionally working through the SETA to explore effective ways of providing mentorship and learnership programmes to provide skills transfer to these groups and individuals.
CPM prides itself on the quality and professionalism of its staff. Initial selection of CPM staff follows a rigorous process of interviews conducted by certified Project Management Professionals followed by 3 independent reference checks. Out of every 10 interviews conducted, only one candidate is successful in terms of being added to CPM’s database for submission in response to clients’ requests for contractors.
We confirm our clients’ requirements either via a meeting, telephone or email, to ensure that possible candidates submitted for consideration are able to meet the requirements.
CPM standardises all candidate CV’s and submits them to the client for consideration. We then facilitate arrangements for short-listed candidate interviews by the client, and if required we participate in the client interviews.
As part of the contracting process, in conjunction with the client we clearly define the duties and responsibilities for the assignment (Statement of Work). The SOW is included in both CPM’s employment contract with the individual as well CPM’s contract with the client.
